Upload a savegame for Enshrouded
- FileZilla: https://filezilla-project.org/
Important: Set the transfer mode in FileZilla to Binary. To do this, click Transfer → Transfer type → Binary. - WinSCP: https://winscp.net/eng/index.php
1. Find and prepare the savegame
You can usually find local Enshrouded savegames here:
%USERPROFILE%\Saved Games\enshrouded
If Steam Cloud is enabled for Enshrouded, the files may instead be located here:
..\Steam\userdata\<SteamID>\1203620\remote
If you want to transfer a co-op savegame to your server, you must rename the files first. Copy the files to a new folder so that the original files remain unchanged.
For a typical co-op savegame, the files may be named:
3bd85c7d and 3bd85c7d_info
Then rename the copied files as follows:
3bd85c7d → 3ad85aea3bd85c7d_info → 3ad85aea_info
The file 3ad85aea is the name the server uses for the first world. If your savegame has different file names, rename the corresponding world file and its _info file accordingly.
2. Upload the savegame
- Stop your server and wait until it has fully shut down. The status must be Server not running.
- Connect to the Gameserver-FTP using your FTP program. You can find the login details in the FTP overview by clicking FTP.
- After connecting, you are already in the root directory
/. Open thesavegamefolder. - Upload the prepared savegame files to
/savegame/. Confirm that existing files should be replaced. - Start your server again.
The server loads the savegame when it starts. If you replace an existing savegame, save the previous files locally first.
