In Palworld you can explore a huge map and swing from island to island. Visit lush green meadows, frosty mountain regions, and scorching volcanic areas. To tackle it all as efficiently as possible, you can use Pals as mounts to fly, swim, or ride. Some of them offer additional bonuses that give you even more freedom of movement. Partner skills are therefore crucial when choosing your mount, while others give you a direct advantage regardless. Today we are looking at all Pals that in some way expand your movement options. And since many Pals require a saddle, we are adding the Technology Level needed to unlock them.
Palworld partner skills: Higher movement speed through team combinations

First, let’s look at Pals that only become faster with the support of other Pals. A classic example is Kingpaca (and Kingpaca Cryst). With each Melpaca in your team, its defense and movement speed increase by 5-14%. You can ride Kingpaca from Level 23, and Cryst from Level 46.
Then there is a whole set of Pals that benefit from other Pals of the same type. Their speed increases by 5-25% for each additional Pal of a specific element in your team. The Pal with the partner skill does not count itself, so you can add up to 4 more Pals.
These Pals apply to the respective element:
- Electric: Beakon (Level 29) and Rayhound (Level 30)
- Ice: Beakon Cryst (Level 71)
- Dark: Ghangler (Level 31)
- Fire: Ghangler Ignis (Level 42) and Suzaku (Level 43)
- Water: Suzaku Aqua (Level 44)
- Neutral: Starryon Primo (Level 77)
In addition to these eight, there are three more Pals with partner abilities that work similarly. However, they boost not only mount movement speed but also attack. Here you get only 2-6% bonuses per extra Pal in the team. They are more geared toward the late game, where they truly shine. Of course, you can also use them in multiplayer, rent your own Palworld server. Every player can use their favorite Pal as a mount and potentially benefit from its ability.
The elements and Pals are:
- Neutral: Celesdir (Level 54)
- Dragon/Dark: Eidrolon (Level 68)
- Dragon/Fire: Eidrolon Ignis (Level 76)
Palworld mounts with double jump and triple jump

Pals are also extremely useful when you want to jump multiple times in a row to reach higher places. While you as a player can learn extra jumps yourself, a mount can get you to new and often undiscovered locations. Pals can perform both double and triple jumps. Triple jumps only become available later in the game—otherwise it would be too easy.
Pals with a double jump:
- Eikthyrdeer (Level 12)
- Tarantriss (Level 20)
- Eikthyrdeer Terra (Level 21)
- Fenglope (Level 26)
- Rayhound (Level 30)
- Rayhound Cryst (Level 32)
- Fenglope Lux (Level 57)
- Necrosis (Level 61)
Pals with a triple jump:
- Paladius (Level 61)
- Hartalis (Level 70)
Fast Palworld mounts by terrain and conditions

Some Pals only reach their true potential while riding when the conditions are right. That might be the terrain, or another state that only applies at certain times. If you want to ride these Pals, you should use them strategically.
Polapup and Polapup Terra are prime examples that can take advantage of a specific environment. On snow they can move 80-160% faster. This is especially handy in winter regions like the Ice Ridge or the Phantom Peaks. They get even faster when you sled down slopes with them, building momentum and accelerating continuously. You can get their saddles from Level 29 and from Level 55 for Terra.
Palumba is highly underestimated in terms of speed. This palm Pal becomes faster when you ride over grass. The bonus is a whopping 155-240%, which is extremely high compared to other Pals. That makes it faster than any other Pal, and you can find grass pretty much everywhere in Palworld, at least on most islands. Unlock the saddle for Palumba at Level 35.
Dazemu also benefits from the right terrain, but this time it has to be sand. Its speed increases by 50-100%, which is still a great bonus. A fully condensed Dazemu is still in the top 5 fastest land Pals. You can use this ability from Level 28, perfect for the upcoming desert in the north.
Also in this top 5 is Starryon, a wondrous horse with mystical powers. Its speed is likewise increased by 50-100%, but only when you ride at night. That suits the Pal’s appearance perfectly. You can craft its saddle from Level 57.
In this section we should also mention Tarantriss again. Yes, it can double jump, but it also has an extra ability. As a spider, it can attach its silk to terrain and swing around. It works like a grappling hook and is super fun as well as very effective.
Palworld Pals with movement bonuses for the player

Finally, here are a few Pals that are not mounts but can still influence your mobility. You can use them in different situations and make the most of their exciting abilities while exploring Palpagos Island.
With Croajiro, for example, you can launch yourself into the air from its puffed-up belly, similar to a trampoline. In combat, this is useful because your attack increases by 50-86% as long as you are airborne. But it can also be handy outside of combat.
Verdash lets you jump once more and dash once more when it is in your team. A small advantage that can be a lot of fun. You can also keep Valentail in your team to reduce gravity, allowing you to jump farther and higher. You also take less fall damage with this Pal.
To round out your climbing abilities, you should have Gorirat Terra in your team. With its powerful arms, it lets you climb 50-100% faster. A great bonus if you travel a lot on foot and like scrambling along cliffs.
Conclusion: Palworld partner skills for maximum mobility
As you can see, there are many Pals that increase your mobility and become even faster and more agile with various partner skill bonuses. Some benefit from other Pals in the team, while others only get faster under certain environmental conditions. That makes every Pal unique, and you can tailor your mount to the situation. You do not have to rely solely on rideable Pals, as some abilities also work when the respective Pal is simply in your team.
