Electric-type Pals are scarce in Palworld. Compared to types like Water or Shadow, there are only a handful to choose from. Still, they play an extremely important role, especially for powering your base. And while they aren’t necessarily the best pure fighters, they can be a wonderful secret weapon in battle. It’s worth considering every Electric Pal—you never know what strength might be hiding there. Most of them pay off twice over precisely because there are so few.

Palworld Electric Pals: Strengths, Weaknesses, and Effects

Palworld Electric Pals strengths and weaknesses at a glance

Electric-type Pals are vulnerable to Ground attacks, which deal double damage. Conversely, Electric attacks are strong against Water. With the large number of Water Pals in the game, Electric Pals are seriously underrated—giving you a clear advantage. All Electric-type attacks can also electrify enemies and temporarily disable them. Electric and Ground, however, are immune. The Soaked effect is also handy, as it makes Electric attacks deal more damage.

Electric Pals are a great change of pace in multiplayer too! Rent a Palworld server now and hunt for those rare Pals together. Also keep an eye out for creatures with the Lux suffix—these Pals have been converted from other types and are now Electric!

Palworld Electric Pals in Combat: The Best Fighters

Electric Pals battling Water Pals in Palworld

Despite their small numbers, Electric Pals pack a punch in combat! As mentioned, they are especially effective against Water. That’s reflected in several abilities that not only emphasize Electric attacks but really put the heat on Water Pals. Electric Pals also like to fight with weapons—or even become a weapon you can wield.

Our top 5 Electric Pals:

  1. Orserk: The best Electric Pal in terms of Attack, able to keep up with other types. Water Pals drop more loot when fought with Orserk.
  2. Azurmane: Particularly strong thanks to high HP, and overall the best fighter when considering all stats. Lacks a direct combat ability, better suited as a mount.
  3. Helzephyr Lux: Second-highest Attack and a solid late-game mount. Converts your attacks to Electric.
  4. Grizzbolt: A strong all-rounder for any fight. Can be ridden and fire a minigun at enemies while mounted.
  5. Fenglope Lux: Also ranks highly with strong Attack and plenty of HP. Lets you gather more Water-Pal loot as well.

Of course, some Pals boost your team. With Sparkit on the team, the Attack of your other Electric Pals increases. Univolt is another mount that converts your player attacks to Electric.

Other Pals support you with their own bodies. First up is Dazzy (Noct), a cloud-like Pal that accompanies your attacks with lightning for extra damage. Jolthog, the little hedgehog with yellow quills, turns itself into a hand grenade that explodes on impact. Lastly, you can pair Pengullet Lux with its rocket launcher and fire the Pal as ammunition.

Electric Pals as Workers: Power and Production in Your Base

Electric Pals generating power in a Palworld base

When it comes to base work, all Electric Pals share one thing: they can generate power for you. That may not seem crucial at first, but you’ll absolutely need it later. Many late-game machines and production lines in your base require electricity to function—and these Pals can provide it. The best here are also Azurmane and Orserk.

There are also solid workers for other tasks. Penking Lux stands out most with five skills. Following that are Pengullet Lux, Mossanda Lux, Dazzi Noct, and Grizzbolt with four work skills each. Most Pals are proficient in Transporting and Handiwork, with some also skilled at gathering wood.

Electric Pals as Mounts: Fastest Rides and Partner Skills

Fast Electric Pals used as mounts in Palworld

Electric has several Pals that run well and fast. Most are land-only, but there are a few flying Pals for specific uses. They may not quite match top-tier Pals like Hartalis, Necromus, or Jetragon, but they have their own unique advantages.

The best Electric mounts are:

  • With Celaray Lux you get the best glider Pal; you’ll also float faster and farther.
  • Azurmane is the overall fastest Electric Pal and can perform an air dash to go even faster.
  • The lightning-quick dog Rayhound isn’t the very fastest, but it can double-jump—an underrated mount in Palworld.
  • We should also mention Beakon as the fastest flying Electric Pal. While riding, it also converts player attacks to Electric.

Partner Skills of Electric Pals in Combat: Riding and Weapons

Partner skills of Electric Pals with grenade and rocket launchers

In the end, there aren’t many Electric Pals left with special abilities, but we want to highlight three Lux variants that are also great in combat. All three are mounts, and you need to ride them to activate their skills.

Dinossom Lux boosts all Electric-type attacks while riding. Mossanda Lux, on the other hand, can use a grenade launcher while mounted and hit enemies on its own. Relaxaurus Lux works similarly, but uses a rocket launcher that you unlock later in the game.

Conclusion on Palworld Electric Pals: Few, but Powerful All-Rounders

Even though there are currently only 18 Electric Pals in the game, they really shine! They’re versatile—useful in combat, as mounts, and around your base. You’ll need them to power various devices and handle other tasks. They’re no slouches on the battlefield either—many like to fight with their own weapons or become one themselves. As mounts, they also offer several great partner skills you should definitely try. Here’s hoping a few more Electric Pals arrive with version 1.0!
