Cattiva is one of the first Pals you can catch in the game. And you should keep it in your party right away, because this pink cat can increase your maximum carry weight by 100 to 200 units. That is a blessing early on, helping you get used to the game without running back to base all the time. Cattiva is not particularly strong, but this ability alone makes it worth it.

Gumoss: Farm wood and reduce wood weight

Turtacle is a cool Pal you can catch early by fishing. Its ability makes regular ore weigh 80 to 100% less in your inventory. That is very specialized, but Turtacle is also a strong and solid Pal for the first hours. It is worth having in your party.
Turtacle Terra: Carry sulfur and coal more easily and strong Ground Pal in combat
Even better is Turtacle Terra, the Ground variant of the Pal, which you can fish in the waters around the desert regions of Palworld. It is sturdier and a bit stronger. For weight reduction of 80 to 100%, this Pal focuses on sulfur and coal, two important crafting resources. The rest of its Partner Skill is geared toward combat. With Turtacle Terra in your party, you and your Pals deal 25 to 40% more damage with Ground attacks when they are super effective, especially against Electric Pals.
Lunaris: Increase carry capacity and improve Pal Spheres
Lunaris is a perfect replacement for Cattiva, as its ability builds on the same idea. It can increase your general carry capacity by 300 to 600 units and can be caught relatively early. The best spots are the first Wildlife Sanctuary or the southern ruins on Obsidian Island, both around level 25. Otherwise, you can find this Pal at the foot or summit of the Ghost Spires. In addition, your Pal Spheres home in on their target with Lunaris in your party, which makes catching Pals easier.
Munchill: Carry ingredients and meals more easily and keep them fresh longer
Munchill is all about keeping treats and food fresh. First, it reduces the weight of ingredients and cooked meals by 30 to 60%, so you can carry more of them. Second, together with another Ice-type Pal in your party, it can make meals spoil 30 to 80% more slowly. According to its description, Munchill carries the food in its mouth to keep it cool. You can find this Pal fairly early, for example around level 10 on the Frost Island in the south or from level 25 by fishing on the Ice Ridge.
Finsider Ignis: Reduce weapon weight and boost Fire damage
Finsider Ignis is another Pal you can find by fishing. Thanks to its Fire type, it prefers volcanic regions and Feybreak. You can catch it from level 30 at the earliest. Although it looks small, it can reduce the weight of your weapons by 60 to 100%, taking a huge load off you. The second part of its ability works similarly to Turtacle Terra, only with the Fire element. When you or your Pals attack with Fire moves and hit a Grass-type Pal with an elemental weakness, those attacks deal an additional 25 to 40% damage.
Reptyro and Reptyro Cryst: Carry all ores more easily and use as mounts
