What is an IP Address

An IP address is used to uniquely identify a server on the Internet. An IP address consists of four numbers separated by periods, ranging from 0 to 255. Example: 192.168.0.1

An IP address is also what you actually rent from 4Netplayers. Using the 4Netplayers web interface, you set up one or more game servers that can then be started on “your” IP address. For example, you can create a game server by clicking on Add Game in the middle.
