Trophies in Valheim are proof that you’re a skilled hunter! Almost every monster and animal can drop a trophy if you’re patient. While some are just for decoration, others are needed for crafting or other aspects of the game. And because Valheim has a surprisingly wide range of mobs, you can collect just as many of their heads. In total, including all bosses and since the latest 1.0 update, there are 69 trophies. We’ll look at how to get them and which ones you actually need for your gameplay. We’ll also mention the drop chance for each collectible.

Meadows trophies in Valheim: Deer, Boars, and Necks

Valheim Meadows trophies with Deer, Boar, and Neck including drop chances and crafting uses

Most trophies are really just a sign of your endurance — you can primarily mount them on item stands. Trophies are also useful to target a Ballista at specific enemies. Rent a Valheim server at a great price and start hunting trophies right from the beginning. With our guide you’ll learn which ones are actually needed.

Note: With Patch 1.0.20 several trophy bugs were fixed, and higher-star mobs now have a higher drop chance. We refer here to the normal variants.
