Handiwork is one of the most extensive skills in Palworld, both in terms of the Pals themselves and the workload and machines involved. The job covers a wide range of tasks that you can hand over to Pals in your base. On the one hand, this makes it quick to find a suitable Pal. On the other hand, it’s not that easy to tell which Pals are really good. Also pay attention to the Partner Skills, some of which boost production even further. Today we take a closer look at Handiwork: where you need it and which 15 Pals we think are best suited for the job.

Handiwork in Palworld: All Stations for Crafting Items

Palworld Handiwork stations Weapon Workbench, Production Assembly Line and Fishing Pond

In Palworld you can have your Pals craft many different things. This usually happens at workbenches or assembly lines. For all of them, only one job description applies: Handiwork. You’ll always need a Pal with this skill to craft important items for you. Handiwork Pals can also operate your base’s defenses and fish in the Fishing Pond. We show you how your Pals can sensibly split up the other tasks in your base in our base guide (Palworld Bases: 7 Efficient Setups for Perfect Task Split) .

Especially if you don’t play alone, the right Handiwork Pals are important. That way you can keep producing new items without waiting. On your own Palworld server, which you can rent from us, you can build the perfect base and use our guide to deploy the right Pals. They cover most of the work stations!

The Best Handiwork Pals in Palworld: From Level 1 to 80

Just over 100 Pals have Handiwork as one of their work skills. Together with Gathering and Transporting, that makes it one of the easiest jobs to fill, but choosing the best Pals is all the harder. We take a look at 15 good Pals that are perfect for it. As always, we refer to their natural potential and list the maximum value with condensing. You can also use manuals for level-ups. You can read what changed about Pal work in version 1.0 in our post on Pal work (Palworld 1.0: Changes to Pal Work and Top All‑Rounders) .

Handiwork Pals in the Early Game (Level 1 to 30)

Palworld early game Handiwork Pals Ribunny, Depresso, Loupmoon, Leezpunk and Lunaris
  • Ribunny: This cute bunny Pal packs a punch, because it raises the Handiwork of all other Pals by +1. Catch it as early as level 1 and use it as a boost in your base.
  • Depresso: A nocturnal and depressed Pal whose work speed can rise to up to 900% thanks to its caffeine shock. You can catch it from level 5 in the starting area, and it reaches a maximum of level 3 in Handiwork.
  • Loupmoon: Probably the best Handiwork Pal for the beginning, able to reach level 6! Catch it from level 14 to use it as a worker. It’s also nocturnal!
  • Leezpunk: A cool Pal with a possible level 4 in Handiwork. You’ll find it here and there from level 10, and it’s nocturnal too, so it works better.
  • Lunaris: Can be found from level 25 in the first wildlife sanctuary. Besides level 6 Handiwork, it can also do Gathering and Transporting, which are important tasks as well.

Handiwork Pals in the Mid Game (Level 31 to 50)

Palworld mid game Handiwork Pals Sekhmet, Gildra, Majex, Hangyu Cryst and Loupmoon Cryst
  • Sekhmet: All in all the best Handiwork Pal in the game! It not only works faster itself at assembly lines and workbenches, but later also boosts Anubis. An Alpha Sekhmet is unbeatable! Catch this Pal in the desert from level 37 and raise its Handiwork to level 8.
  • Gildra: A really useful Pal with a maximum of level 7 in Handiwork, plus Transporting and Medicine Production. You can also catch Gildra in the desert from level 39, and it’s nocturnal.
  • Majex: Besides Handiwork level 7, it’s also good at Kindling with level 6, and the two combine really well! You’ll find it in the second wildlife sanctuary from level 35.
  • Hangyu Cryst: An underrated Pal for Handiwork that can reach up to level 5. It can also cool, transport and gather. Catch it at night from level 32 in the icy region in the north.
  • Loupmoon Cryst: We’ve already mentioned Loupmoon, and its ice form is very good too! It reaches level 6 in Handiwork and level 6 in Cooling, which always comes in handy. You’ll also find this icy Pal in the north from level 40.

Handiwork Pals in the Late Game (Level 51 to 80)

Palworld late game Handiwork Pals Anubis, Wistella, Lapure, Solenne and Selyne
  • Anubis: Even in version 1.0, Anubis is still a good Handiwork Pal with a maximum of level 8. It also gets a speed boost when Sekhmet is in the base. You can only catch it later, though, as an Alpha version from level 55 and after that only from level 68.
  • Wistella: Also reaches level 8 in Handiwork and is nocturnal as well. You’ll find it at the earliest as an Alpha from level 66 and after that only in the World Tree from level 76.
  • Lapure: A really cute Pal that can even reach level 9 in Handiwork with condensing! It’s one of the Pals on Sunreach and appears from level 65. A good Pal to bridge the gap into the end game. You can learn more about the island in our Sunreach guide (Palworld Sunreach Guide: Location, Tower Boss, New Pals & Resources) .
  • Solenne: The only Pal that can naturally reach the maximum level 10 in Handiwork. As a Dark type, it’s also nocturnal. That alone makes it worth it! But you’ll only find it in the World Tree from level 76, so you’ll have to wait a while.
  • Selyne: A good combination of Handiwork level 9 and Medicine Production level 8. Another World Tree Pal from level 76, and nocturnal as well.

Conclusion: Get the Most Out of Your Production With Handiwork Pals

Without Handiwork Pals in your base, you won’t be able to produce anything. They work at assembly lines, craft weapons and armor at workbenches, fish in Fishing Ponds or defend your base if you’re attacked. So the 109 Handiwork Pals can take on a wide range of tasks! The best Pals for this job are the ones built for speed.
