Rings are among the important pieces of equipment in Enshrouded. You can equip them in your inventory and swap them again and again during your adventure. They cover a wide range of bonuses that you can use differently depending on your playstyle. Some also have unique abilities that may help you in certain situations. In total there are 38 rings you can find and equip. The further you progress in the game, the more valuable and better they become. Today we take a closer look at the ring system and give you tips on which two rings you should combine.

Rings in Enshrouded: Uses, Locations and Upgrades

Enshrouded inventory with the two ring slots in the bottom left

When you open your inventory in Enshrouded, you will surely notice the two slots in the bottom left corner. These are meant for your rings, which you can find in the game world. You can equip two different or two identical rings here, but no more. They count as additional accessories for your adventure and can give you various bonuses, advantages and other abilities. You can only equip them from a certain level and they can often only be found in the matching biome.

You find rings from start to finish. They are mainly found in chests and also while fishing, but since version 1.0 they are also one of the drops from enemies, albeit relatively rare. They are often tied to certain regions so that you find rings suited to your current progress. A small number of rings, however, are static and can only be found in one place. Why not hunt for these rare rings on your own Enshrouded server that you can rent directly from us! You can also go ring hunting there with your friends.

Enshrouded Gemini Ring and Commander's Ring with stats and upgrades

Since Update 8, rings can also contain additional enhancements. The higher the rarity of the ring, the more upgrades are available. Legendary rings therefore have the best potential! You can have them upgraded by some of the survivors, depending on which ring it is. These are further bonuses, upgrades for some skills or other advantages. You can find out where to find the survivors in our NPC guide (Enshrouded: Find Survivors – All 10 NPCs and Locations) . Rings you don’t need can be broken down into runes.

All Rings in Enshrouded at a Glance

Rings for HP, Mana and Stamina: All Seven Tiers

Enshrouded rings for health, stamina and mana

The first category of rings are all the rings that focus on the main stats: your health bar, your stamina and your magic. Each of these categories includes seven rings, which already covers 21 of the 38 rings in Enshrouded.

They are divided into the following tiers:

  1. Lesser Ring (Springlands) from level 5
  2. Normal Ring (Revelwood) from level 10
  3. Greater Ring (Nomad Highlands) from level 15
  4. Superior Ring (Kindlewastes) from level 20
  5. Exceptional Ring (Albaneve Summit) from level 30
  6. Ultimate Ring (Veilwater Basin) from level 40
  7. Ancient Ring (Cinder’s Cradle) from level 45

All of these rings focus on more mana, health or stamina and also give you additional regeneration for these categories. The Exceptional rings also have frost resistance, the Ultimate rings reduce the wet effect by one minute and the Ancient rings combine these two effects.

With these rings, a lot depends on your playstyle. For tanks the health rings are of course worth it, for stamina-heavy builds the stamina rings and for mages the mana rings. And you should also check what the upgrades bring you and which stats they additionally improve. You can read about what else matters for a mage’s gear in our mage guide (Enshrouded Mage Guide: Best Weapons, Skills & Spells) .

Rings from level 2:

  • Alchemist’s Ring (Springlands): Slightly increases your HP and time in the Shroud.

  • Ring of the Heir (Veilwater Basin): Gives you more protection in the Shroud, extends the time and gives some frost resistance. Definitely worth it for exploring the miasma, but primarily a mage ring with further upgrades.

Rings from level 45:

  • Ring of the Ancients (Cinder’s Cradle): The best ring for regenerating your stats, plus more frost resistance and less wetness. Further upgrades focus on critical hits.
  • Ring of the Ether (Cinder’s Cradle): More HP, stamina regeneration and more time in the Shroud. A balanced and good ring with great upgrades.
  • Ring of the Mother Flame (Cinder’s Cradle): The last ring designed for fire magic. Definitely recommended for mages in the late game!

Conclusion: Combine the Best Rings for Your Build

Rings aren’t just a stylish accessory, they can also boost your combat power. The right combination of rings is a great bonus you should definitely have. Which rings you choose naturally depends on your playstyle. Think carefully about which stats you want to improve and which abilities really help you. You can find the best sets to go with them in our armor guide (Enshrouded Armor & Outfits: Best Sets, Classes & Transmog) . Also look out for the legendary variants, because with up to five upgrades they offer the most improvements.
