Download Savegame in Cryofall

This guide explains how to download your savegame from your CryoFall server.

Important: You need to use an FTP client such as FileZilla or WinSCP.

Follow these steps:

  1. Stop your server and wait until its status shows Server läuft nicht.
  2. Connect to the Gameserver FTP using your FTP program. You can find the login details in the FTP overview by clicking FTP.
  3. Open the /Data/Saves folder in the Gameserver FTP.
  4. Download the complete Saves folder to your computer. Do not download only individual files so that the savegame is backed up completely.
  5. Start your server again.

You can keep the downloaded folder as a backup or upload it to a CryoFall server later. When uploading it, make sure the folder is placed under /Data/Saves on the FTP again.
