Installing a Savegame in ARK

To upload an existing game save to the server, it is important that the server first creates the necessary folders.
To do this, you need to create an ARK configuration. Start it and connect to the server.
Now log in as admin in-game -> How to become an admin

Then execute the command Admincheat SaveWorld in the console or through the admin menu.

Now you can leave the server and stop it in the web interface.
The server will automatically write the folders to the Game server FTP.

To upload your game save, navigate to the Game server FTP of your game server, to the ID of your configuration (found under General Information). Open the folder with the configuration ID until you reach ‘Saved Arks’.

Here, you can copy the folder ServerPaintingsCache and the files *.arktribe, *.arkprofile, and *.ark into it.

The singleplayer save files can be found under SteamLibrary -> steamapps -> common -> ARK -> ShooterGame -> Saved -> SavedArksLocal<br. Save files from another server or a personal backup can also be uploaded in this way.

After all files have been transferred, the server can be started with the new game save.
