Battles in Palworld can be a serious challenge, making it essential to keep an eye on your HP at all times. There are healing potions to restore them, but they are not necessarily the best items for an intense fight. In combat, you can only actively heal yourself with the help of certain Pals. A healer Pal on your team can make many encounters much easier and ensure that both you and your Pals periodically regenerate HP and keep fighting. They are the ultimate supports and can save you from certain death. There is actually only a small group of healer Pals, which we’ll introduce here.
Palworld healer Pal Herbil: Locations and healing power
- Location: Sun Isle, Northern Bamboo Grove, Winstieg Island
You can catch Herbil right at the start of your adventure in Palworld. This cute Grass Pal can heal you with its Herbil Heart Massage. Depending on the level of the Partner Skill, that’s between 30 and 60 % of your maximum HP, so you can improve its healing as you progress through the game. You can do this at the Juicer, which you unlock at technology level 14. Herbil is a perfect support Pal for beginners.
Teafant in Palworld: Automatic healing and locations
- Location: Moor Isle, Windswept Island, Secluded Island
Another early healing Pal is Teafant, a cute little Water-type elephant. You can catch it at level 2 and train it from there. Its healing ability, Wellness Shower, automatically restores 20–40 % of your HP when they drop below 30 %. That’s handy when you can’t watch your HP closely and still need healing. Perfect for battles on your own multiplayer host. You can rent a Palworld server here. Teafant always keeps an eye on your HP and heals you at the right moment. The effect has a cooldown of 120 seconds.
Flambelle in Palworld: Regeneration outside combat
- Location: Sporadically on Secluded Island, in the War Scars, the Windswept Islands, the Eastern Wilderness Islands, or on Obsidian Island
You can also catch the Fire Pal Flambelle fairly early, although it is rarer and only appears in certain places. Keep an eye out for a red candle. Flambelle doesn’t heal you directly in combat, but restores 0.1–0.5 % of your HP and your Pals’ HP per second outside of combat. That’s not particularly useful during a fight, but it can top you up quickly afterward. And it’s the first Pal here that also heals your other Pals.
Petallia and Petalia Ignis: Strong healing for mid and late game
- Location (Petallia): Crescent Moon Isle, Cherry Blossom Shrine
- Location (Petalia Ignis): World Tree
You can only catch Petallia a bit later, but it’s worth it. It can be a good replacement for Herbil, as Petallia can restore 75–85 % of your HP on command with its Blessing of the Flower Fairy. That’s significantly more than Herbil. You can catch it at level 28 on Crescent Moon Isle, making it a strong mid-game support Pal for your team. However, it’s more of a base Pal, with five work skills and +1 to Sowing for all Pals at your base.
Much later, at the World Tree, you can catch a Fire Petallia. Its HP regeneration is a bit stronger, at 80–90 % of your HP. It’s also much better suited to combat, as it additionally reduces Grass damage by 15–30 %. It also makes you immune to Entangled.
Celesdir in Palworld: Mount Pal with healing and buffs
- Location: Feybreak
Next on the list of healers is Celesdir, an elegant mount Pal that you can catch on Feybreak from around level 55. This Pal brings a whole mix of Partner Skills, including healing. Its ability is an improved version of Flambelle, restoring 0.15–0.75 % of your HP and your Pals’ HP outside of combat. In addition, Celesdir benefits from every Normal-type Pal in your team and increases both its Attack and Attack Speed by 2–6 % per Normal-type Pal. Celesdir Noct, by the way, does not have a healing ability.
Lyleen and Lyleen Noct: Maximum healing for player and team
- Locations: Alpha boss on Sakurajima (level 58), World Tree
Lyleen’s healing abilities are a step above Herbil and Petallia. With the Goddess of Abundance ability, the regular Grass Lyleen restores 80–90 % of your HP on command in combat, while the Shadow Lyleen restores 85–95 %. And unlike previous Pals with direct healing, it can also heal the HP of your team’s Pals, which is a powerful bonus. You can find both Lyleen and Lyleen Noct once as Alpha bosses near the Cherry Blossom Shrine. Otherwise, you’ll have to wait until the World Tree for this maximum healing power. It’s worth it, though. Aside from that, Lyleen is more of a base Pal, since it can take on four jobs. Lyleen Noct is also nocturnal, but cannot sow.
Felbat and Lovander: Life-steal healing in combat
- Location (Felbat): Southern Feybreak (level 63)
- Location (Lovander): Only at night in Thirst Dunes and Dusky Sands (from level 30)
Finally, let’s look at two Pals with exactly the same ability. Both Felbat and Lovander can steal your opponent’s HP in combat and heal you as the player with it. Depending on Condensation and the level of the Partner Skill, they convert 5–9 % of the damage dealt to the enemy into HP for themselves and you. This life-steal ability is super practical if you fight primarily offensively, as it actively restores HP by having you deal damage.
While you can find Lovander earlier in the game, Felbat doesn’t show up until the late game. Felbat, however, is generally the better fighter and must be actively involved in combat to trigger this ability. We therefore recommend catching it as soon as possible and focusing on Felbat. Lovander is still a good option if you like playing with life-steal.
