The Ranch is a building that got even better with Palworld 1.0! It benefits not only from many small tweaks that let it produce more items, but the number of eligible Pals has also increased. This unlocks several new products for mass production that you previously had to track down yourself. A Ranch is absolutely worth it, especially with these new little helpers at your base. And with a few other adjustments, you can now squeeze even more out of them. Today we’ll look at the changes and which Pals are especially good as Ranch workers!

Palworld 1.0 Ranch changes: work level, juicing, and Cinnamoth

Palworld 1.0 Ranch with Cinnamoth and increased work level for juicing

Palworld’s 1.0 release revises many existing systems that also affect the Ranch beyond new Pals and drops. This includes changes to the work level and to juicing, plus a new Pal that can lend you a hand. The building recipe was adjusted too, and you now need 20x less wood than before. You can try all this yourself: Rent a Palworld server. Or adapt your Ranch to the new features if you already have a save.

The first major change is that the ranch work level can now be raised. Before 1.0 this wasn’t possible; now you can make use of all 10 levels. Pals caught in the wild range between level 1 and 4, but you can raise this with the new Applied Ranch Work and Juicing books. A Pal’s ranch work level determines how many items it produces.

With juicing, you now passively increase levels per star, because star ranks now also raise work skill levels. The first three stars each increase the first three work skills; the final star gives +1 level to all of them. Stars themselves no longer affect ranch drops and instead focus on Pal stats or secondary Partner Skills, which many Pals now possess.

Lastly, there’s a Pal you should keep at your base. Cinnamoth now increases ranch work level by +1 while it is in your storage. The effect does not stack.

Take Caprity as an example. At level 1 it produces only one Red Berry. At level 5 it already yields 1 to 5 Red Berries per drop. At the maximum level 10, you can expect 3 to 10 berries. The amount is now tied to work level, not to stars.
