With LISA — the Live Instance Support Assistant — managing your game server becomes much simpler. LISA is your intelligent game server assistant in the 4Netplayers dashboard and helps you create new servers, configure existing instances, or start and stop your server directly.
Instead of clicking through countless settings, just describe what you want. Whether it’s server setup, configuration changes, or managing multiple instances: LISA is by your side around the clock and gets you to the right solution quickly.
You say what you need. LISA takes care of your server. Now available at 4Netplayers.
Manage in natural language
Server management used to mean reading documentation, browsing menus, and knowing the right terms. With LISA, a simple sentence is enough. Instead of figuring out where a certain option lives, just describe your goal.
For example:
Start my Minecraft server.
How many slots does my Palworld server have?
I want to create a new Project Zomboid server for eight players.
LISA understands the context and executes the desired action directly whenever possible. If information is missing, the assistant asks targeted follow-up questions. This makes operation much easier, especially for new users who aren’t yet familiar with every function of the web interface.
What LISA can do for you
LISA doesn’t just answer questions. The assistant can actively work with your customer account and take on many tasks, including:
- Overview of your existing servers
- Start, stop, or restart servers
- Create new game servers
- Select games and mods
- Change server name, password, or slots
- Edit game-specific configurations
- Provide step-by-step guides
- Delete servers or reset game worlds (after additional confirmation)
This means LISA isn’t just a replacement for an FAQ — it becomes a true management tool.
Always stay on top of things
Especially when running multiple servers at once, it’s easy to lose track. A short sentence is enough:
Which servers do I currently have?
LISA might return an overview like this:
- Minecraft server: Online
- Palworld server: Offline
- Farming Simulator 25: Online
- TeamSpeak server: Online
Additionally, the assistant can display details such as slots, IP address, or current status. This saves time and makes switching between different servers unnecessary.
Restarting a server? One sentence is all it takes.
A restart is one of the most common admin tasks. Until now, that meant:
- Open the dashboard
- Select the correct server
- Open the management menu
- Execute the restart
With LISA, you can simply say:
Please restart my ARK server.
If you have multiple servers for the same game, the assistant will of course ask which one you mean.
Create new servers
Setting up new game servers also works directly through LISA. For example:
I want to create a new Valheim server for six players.
LISA then automatically asks for all information required for that game, such as:
- Server name
- Password
- Region
- Desired mods
- Game-specific settings
You don’t need to know which details are mandatory. Any missing information is requested automatically.
Easily change complex game settings
Many games now offer hundreds of configuration options. Palworld is a good example. Numerous settings are applied directly via configuration files. Instead of searching for the right file yourself, you can simply write:
Halve the breeding time.
Double the experience points.
LISA finds the corresponding setting and adjusts it. Other games with extensive configuration files benefit from this approach as well.
Help tailored to your server
Another big advantage is context-aware assistance. If you ask:
How do I install mods?
you won’t get a generic guide from the internet. LISA takes your actual servers into account instead. A Minecraft server with Fabric requires a different approach than a Farming Simulator server or a Project Zomboid server. This way, you get exactly the instructions that fit your environment.
Changes to configuration files
Experienced administrators benefit from LISA too. Configuration files can be adjusted directly via chat. For example:
Set the maximum number of players to 20.
Enable PvP.
Disable friendly fire.
Make resources regrow twice as fast.
LISA applies the changes to the relevant files and can even explain which values were modified if you wish. This keeps every change transparent.
Security is the top priority
An assistant that can perform real actions must be especially well secured. That’s why LISA follows several important security principles.
No elevated permissions
LISA has no special privileges. The assistant can only perform actions that you, as the logged-in customer, could perform yourself. It operates using your existing session and receives no additional permissions.
Passwords are kept separate
If an action requires a password, input happens via a separate lock field. This password is never sent to the AI model. This keeps sensitive credentials strictly separate from the actual conversation.
Critical actions require confirmation
Particularly sensitive actions such as:
- Delete server
- Reset game world (wipe)
are never executed immediately. After your request, LISA first prompts you for a separate confirmation. Only once this second confirmation is provided will the action actually be carried out. This prevents accidental deletions.
Privacy
Before using LISA for the first time, you’ll be asked for your consent. You can, of course, revoke this consent at any time. Chat histories are not stored permanently either. They are automatically deleted after 90 days. This way, you always stay in control of your data.
Why LISA is labeled as beta
Although LISA already works very reliably, the assistant is deliberately labeled as BETA. The reason is simple: artificial intelligence can make mistakes. That’s why the widget clearly indicates that actions are executed live on your customer account.
At the same time, we are continuously improving LISA. New insights from real customer requests flow directly into ongoing development. Several improvements have already been released today alone. Our goal is to make the assistant more powerful step by step.
A look ahead
We don’t see LISA as a replacement for classic server management, but as a new, much simpler way to interact with your game server. If you prefer navigating menus, you can of course continue to do so. Many tasks, however, can be completed much faster via chat.
Beginners benefit from not needing to know technical terms or search documentation. Experienced administrators save time because routine tasks can be completed with just a few words.
Our goal is not to provide yet another chatbot. We want to make game server management more natural, faster, and more convenient. With LISA, your customer dashboard becomes an intelligent assistant that understands what you want to achieve and actively helps you do it.
