Upload Savegame for The Forest

We will guide you on how to upload your savegame for The Forest.

Tip: We recommend using an FTP program such as Filezilla.

Follow these steps:

  1. Stop your server. The server status must be “Server not running!”
  2. Connect to the Savegames FTP with your FTP program.
    You can find the login details by clicking on “FTP” in the FTP overview.
  3. Upload your savegame to the following directory:
    /ConfigID/saves/SKS/TheForestDedicatedServer/ds/Multiplayer/Slot1
    Note: You can find the ConfigID or Configuration ID for your server on our website under “Gameserver”.
    If your ConfigID is 123456, the directory would look like this:
    /123456/saves/SKS/TheForestDedicatedServer/ds/Multiplayer/Slot1
  4. Start your server.
