Setting a Password in Teamspeak
You can easily set a password for your Teamspeak server or a channel.
In any case, you must belong to a group with sufficient rights, such as the ServerAdmin group.
If you do not have the necessary rights or they have been revoked, we describe here: Lost Privileges how you can regain them.
Setting a Password for the Server
- Connect to your server
- Right-click on the name of your server and select Edit virtual server
- Enter your desired password under
Password - Click Apply at the bottom
- Enter your password again for confirmation
- You can now close the window
Setting a Password for a Channel
- Connect to your server
- Right-click on the name of your channel and select Edit channel
- Enter your desired password under
Password - Click Apply at the bottom
- You can now close the window
