With Space Elevator Phase 5, the core game of Satisfactory is approaching its finale. Of course, you can keep playing in sandbox forever, but the last phase of the elevator is also the final official assignment you received from your FICSIT team. And it’s a tough one, with extremely complex builds and production lines that demand you bring together everything you’ve learned! You unlock all required components with Tier 9 (Satisfactory Tier 9 Guide: Converter, Conveyor Belts Mk. 6, Portals, and more) , after which you can start preparing to wrap up Satisfactory.
Satisfactory Space Elevator Phase 5: Preparation, power, and production planning

Once you’ve completed all milestones, you should set your sights on Phase 5. This is where everything comes together, and Satisfactory challenges you one last time to clear the final hurdle.
For Phase 5 you need:
- 1000x Nuclear Pasta
- 1000x Biochemical Sculptor
- 256x AI Expansion Server
- 200x Ballistic Warp Drive
By now you should know all the key elements needed to craft these final parts. After all, you’ve completed every step leading up to this. This last phase expects you to combine all these aspects and maximize your planet-wide production.
Our final tips for Phase 5:
- Secure a reliable power source, whether that’s nuclear power or rocket fuel.
- Research all MAM branches to cover every angle.
- Find all Hard Drives for the MAM to unlock every possible alternate recipe. We only consider vanilla recipes in this guide, but you can certainly shorten some paths.
- Use transport options that fit your playstyle. That can be trains, drones, or trusty old conveyor belts.
- Work with blueprints and modular sections, potentially building a mega factory. More on that in our post (Satisfactory Endgame: Plan Your Mega Factory and Optimal Layout) .
Nuclear Pasta for Phase 5: Produce Copper Powder and Pressure Conversion Cubes efficiently

You’ve already produced Nuclear Pasta in Phase 4, but now the required amount jumps from just 100 to a full 1000 units. That shouldn’t be a big problem if you’ve laid the groundwork. You can either scale up your Phase 4 setup or simply let it run in the background to stockpile enough pasta (Satisfactory Space Elevator Phase 4 Guide: Unlock Tier 9) . Copper Powder is very simple to make, and you can continue using your existing Pressure Conversion Cube line. Those are made from Radio Control Units and Fused Modular Frames.
Crafting Biochemical Sculptor: Assembly Director System, FICSIT Trigon, and water in the Blender

You also need 1000 units of Biochemical Sculptor to complete Phase 5. Conveniently, this item builds on your previous step, as you can practically reuse your entire Assembly Director System production and plug in here. Combine those with FICSIT Trigons and water in a Blender.
- Assembly Director System: This part is made from Supercomputers and Adaptive Control Units. It was required in Phase 4, so it should pose fewer problems now. Since it needs many subcomponents, it benefits greatly from alternate recipes and overlaps with other production lines.
- FICSIT Trigon: Craft Trigons from FICSIT Ingots, which you convert from other ores (Aluminum, Caterium, or Iron) plus Reanimated SAM. Not particularly difficult either.
- Water: Simply pump water into the Blender to complete the craft.
Producing AI Expansion Server: Magnetic Field Generator, Neural Quantum Processor, Superposition Oscillator, and Excited Photonic Matter

Things get a bit more complex now, even though you can reuse several steps from earlier phases for the AI Expansion Server. Still, you’ll converge four components in the Quantum Encoder here, each with its own lengthy production chain.
- Magnetic Field Generator: You can carry this over directly from Phase 4. It’s made from Versatile Framework and Electromagnetic Control Rods.
- Neural Quantum Processor: Arguably one of the more intricate parts, since it also requires four items that merge in the Quantum Encoder: Time Crystals, Supercomputers, FICSIT Trigons, and Excited Photonic Matter. All of this is very manageable though. Supercomputers and Trigons are already needed for the Sculptor. Time Crystals only require Diamonds, and the Photonic Matter can be produced from nothing.
- Superposition Oscillator: Again you need four components: Dark Matter Crystals, Quartz Oscillators, Alclad Aluminum Sheets, and once more Excited Photonic Matter.
- Excited Photonic Matter: Can be produced in the Converter with no ingredients and is needed for several other parts anyway.
As a by-product of this chain you’ll generate Dark Matter Residue, which you’ll need for other aspects like Ficsonium and Dark Matter Crystals. This lets you set up a loop that simplifies production considerably.
Ballistic Warp Drive: Thermal Propulsion Rocket, Singularity Cell, Superposition Oscillator, and Dark Matter Crystal

This is the final and by far most complex part awaiting you in Satisfactory. Four production lines converge in the Manufacturer once more, but you can reuse several items from the previous step.
- Thermal Propulsion Rocket: Reuse your Phase 4 setup, which is already somewhat involved. That’s one of four components done.
- Singularity Cell: Made from Concrete, Iron Plates, as well as Dark Matter Crystals and Nuclear Pasta. As you can see, there are lots of overlaps again.
- Superposition Oscillator: You already produced these for the AI Expansion Servers.
- Dark Matter Crystal: Typically crafted from Diamonds and Dark Matter Residue. The latter is a by-product of various processes you already have running. Just route it over to produce the crystals.
You can see several steps overlap with the AI Expansion Server here, allowing you to manufacture both parts in parallel. As before, Satisfactory nudges you to analyze and plan carefully. That way you cover all bases and can streamline your production.
Conclusion for Phase 5: Finish the Space Elevator and start the endgame
Congratulations, you’ve completed all phases to assemble the Space Elevator. Now you just need to handle the launch procedure and prep all systems, but no new materials are required. After that, you’ve “beaten” Satisfactory and can build your dream factory and enjoy the fruits of your success.
