Creating Player Roles in Path of Titans

You can create custom roles for players on your server.
To do this, you will need the Alderon Games ID of each player.
The necessary Permission for the role can be found HERE.

Basic Mode

In Basic Mode, you can create roles under Game Settings -> Roles.
An example of what a role can look like is provided below.

Advanced Mode

In Advanced Mode, you can create roles in the Commands.ini file.
An example of what a role can look like is provided below.

    [Role:Teleporter]
    +Permission=teleport
    +Permission=teleportall
    ChatColor=(R=0,G=255,B=0,A=255)
    OverrideAdminChatColor=True
    ReservedSlot=True

    [PlayerRoles]
    123-456-789=Teleporter

• [Role:Teleporter]: Specifies the name of the role, which in this example is Teleporter.
• +Permission: Grants the role permission to use the associated commands.
  Important: one Permission per line!
• ChatColor: Sets the chat color for the role.
• OverrideAdminChatColor: If True, the color set with ChatColor will be used. Otherwise, the default admin chat color will be used.
• ReservedSlot: Determines whether players with this role have a reserved slot on the server.

Additional possible settings:

• AllowSpectatorAccess=True/False: Allows players with this role to use spectator mode and the admin panel.
• CreatorModeAccess=True/False: Allows players to use the creator mode.
• Hierarchy=0: Specifies the hierarchy of the role. Roles with a lower hierarchy cannot apply certain commands to roles with a higher hierarchy.
  Affected commands: kick, ban, promote, demote

You can assign the respective roles to players under [PlayerRoles].
Alternatively, if you have the necessary permission, you can assign roles in-game using the chat command /promote PlayerName RoleName.
