How to install mods on my Eco server
In this article, we will explain how you can install mods on your Eco server.
Note: You must use a FTP client such as Filezilla.
Proceed as follows:
- Start and stop your server. The status of the server must be server not running!
- Connect with your FTP client to Gameserver FTP.
You can find the login data in the FTP overview by clicking on FTP. - Upload the mods into the following directory:
/Mods - Mods must be unpacked. Do not upload ZIP files.
- Once you have uploaded your mods, start your server.
- Once it has started up, please stop it again.
The status of the server must be Server not running! - Reconnect to the gameserver FTP.
- If your mods have created configuration files, you can usually find them here:
/Configs/Mods - To edit them, download them, change them and reupload them.
- When you are finished with your mod installation, start your server.
