Upload savegame for Windrose

In this article, we describe how you can upload a savegame for Windrose.

Important: You must use an FTP Client such as Filezilla or WinSCP.

Please download the client here
- WinSCP: https://winscp.net/

Important: Please make sure that you have selected the transfer mode Binary when using an FTP program!
In Filezilla you can do this under Transfer -> Transfer mode -> Binary.

Proceed as follows:

  1. Stop your server. The status of your server must be Server not running!
  2. Connect with your FTP program to the Savegames-FTP.
    You can find the login data in the FTP overview when you click on FTP.
  3. The folder with the savegame is uploaded to the following directory:
    KonfigID/R5/Saved/SaveProfiles/Default/RocksDB/0.10.0/Worlds/
    Note: The KonfigID or KonfigurationsID for your server can be found on our page under Gameserver.
    If your KonfigID were e.g. 123456, it would look like this:/123456/R5/Saved/SaveProfiles/Default/RocksDB/0.10.0/Worlds/
  4. Then enter the folder name in the settings under Server Settings -> WorldID
  5. Click on Save and restart your server
