How do I become Admin in Hytale

You can grant yourself Admin rights on your Hytale Server in just a few steps.
To do so, you must activate a server setting and then execute a command in the game.

Grant Admin rights

  1. Stop your server.
  2. Activate the Admin setting:
    • In Basic Mode you will find it under Server Settings
    • In Advanced Mode under Commandline
  3. Click Save and start the server
  4. Connect to your server
  5. Open the chat and enter the following command: /op self
  6. Confirm with ENTER

You now have Admin rights on your Hytale Server.

Important:
As long as the Admin setting is active, any player on the server can grant themselves Admin rights using this command.

We therefore recommend stopping the server again after granting Admin rights and disabling the setting.
Your Admin status will remain active as it is stored separately.
