Metamod replaces the game.dll of Halflife, allowing different plugins to access the Halflife Engine alternately.
Metamod is necessary for AMX Mod X.
Metamod is automatically activated whenever you activate a mod that requires Metamod.
However, you can also manually activate it under Add-Ons.
Important: In Advanced Mode, after activating Metamod, you must manually adjust the liblist.gam. Find the entry
gamedll_linux "dlls/cs_i386.so"`
and modify it as follows:
gamedll_linux "addons/metamod/dlls/metamod_i386.so"
Then click on Save.
