Accessories are, alongside your armor, a key part of your outfit in Palworld. They grant additional effects, and you can carry up to four at a time. Even before 1.0 there were some great items you could equip and carry, but with the full release the list has grown significantly. Drop behavior has also changed, so some older info is now outdated. You now need to find schematics to craft them. These are scattered all over Palpagos Island, meaning you’ll only discover some of them quite late in the game. Today we’re taking a closer look at the new accessories—what’s worth it and what isn’t.
Palworld 1.0 accessory changes: schematics, drops, and crafting

There’s a whole range of new add-ons, and the way you obtain and use them has changed as well. First, you must find a schematic for each accessory before you can craft it. These can appear anywhere—some in chests, others in ancient ruins, or on oil rigs. It really encourages broad exploration. The new ancient ruins are especially good for picking up lots of schematics early on. They’re spread all across the map.
It’s also important to know that there are no upgraded accessories with +1 or +2 anymore. All previous add-ons have been standardized to +2. This makes effects more consistent and differentiates accessories more clearly. One thing that remains unchanged is how to unlock two extra slots. You still need Mog Coins for strongboxes. All new Palworld 1.0 accessories: overview and verdict
Scepters in Palworld 1.0: High attack power and elemental boosts

The first new accessory type is scepters, which empower your Pals in battle with their respective element. They provide a boost to the overall attack power of all Pals and an additional damage increase for the specific element. There are nine different scepters to find.
You’ll only find their schematics relatively late in the game, and they require Ancient Cores to craft. Teaming up with friends to hunt down the schematics is your best bet. Rent a Palworld server with fast setup. Scepters are almost always worth using, especially thanks to their high tier.
Talismans in Palworld: Better defense and elemental advantages

Talismans are the counterpart to scepters, focusing primarily on your Pals’ defense. At the same time, they’re tied to the nine elements and can also be used for extra damage. Talisman names usually reference a strong Pal of that type, for example the Talisman of Lyleen. We recommend a talisman when your Pals are mainly struggling defensively. The boost from this accessory can help you survive tougher fights and endure more damage.
Elemental rings in Palworld: Strong boosts with a trade-off

There are new elemental rings as well, in addition to the ones already in the game. These new versions are far more interesting because they boost one element for your Pal while simultaneously reducing damage from another element used by enemies. Always read the description carefully so you don’t get mixed up.
Take the Blazehowl Ring as an example. It features a red gemstone, indicating it increases your Pals’ fire damage. At the same time, it reduces damage from grass attacks by other Pals. The damage reduction always applies to the element that is weak against the element being boosted. So the Vaelet Ring strengthens grass and simultaneously reduces damage from earth, and so on.
Aeroläufer shoes in Palworld: More mobility in four tiers

The new Aeroläufer are super practical—stylish, modern shoes that make you more agile. There are four tiers in total, and it’s clear why these upgrades are now gated behind schematics. Each tier grants additional jumps and the ability to perform an air dash. You can find the first schematic on the Geisterzinnen, while the others appear later on Sunreach or oil rigs.
Special Palworld accessories: Badges, apparel, rings, and amulets

Finally, let’s look at all the accessories that don’t fit neatly into a category. There are some truly strong add-ons here that you should use later in the game. Keep an eye out for their schematics and slot them in for the right situations. Many of these recipes require Ancient Bones, a new crafting material. You’ll mainly find them in the third wildlife sanctuary.

Conclusion: Use the right accessories for each situation
With over 40 new accessories, you can fine-tune your builds in Palworld 1.0 even more precisely. Often the element of your Pals matters—as does that of your enemies. Sometimes you’ll gain an offensive bonus in combat, other times you’ll bolster your defense. Still others improve your mobility, including the new Aeroläufer shoes. We recommend seeking out the new ancient ruins and completing their mini-game to obtain schematics for all accessories.
