Upload Savegame in V Rising

Tip: We recommend using an FTP program such as Filezilla.

To upload your savegame, please follow these steps:

  1. Stop your server. The server status should be “Server is not running”!
  2. Connect to the Game server FTP.
    You can find the login details in the FTP overview when you click on FTP.
  3. Upload your savegame to the following directory:
    /Saves/v4
  4. Open your server for editing. Click on the name. Then enter the name of your game state
    • Basic Mode: Click on Server Settings and enter the name of the savegame under Game State.
    • Advanced Mode: Click on ServerHostSettings.json.
      Then find the line "SaveName": "world1", and replace world1 with the name of your savegame,
      for example "SaveName": "MySave",.
  5. Click on Save and start the server.
