Strength isn’t everything in Palworld, but sometimes your Pals need to hit hard to get through tough fights. That’s why it’s important to know every method to bring out their best. Palworld gives you plenty of great options to push your Pals to the limit. From perfect catches and extra fruits to condensing and team building, you have many ways to become extremely powerful. And that applies to every Pal!
Palworld guide: Find and catch the best Pal

To end up with the best Pal, you need a good starting point. Some Pals are better suited for training than others. While some stats are fixed, others are random.
Here are a few preparations you can make:
- Ability Glasses: Unlock this accessory at Technology Level 34 (with 4 Ancient Technology Points) to see your Pals’ Potential. It shows HP, Attack, and Defense from 1 to 100. The higher, the better.
- Passive skills: With Yakumo’s Partner Skill, you can target Pals with the right partner abilities to catch and power them up.
- Breeding: Even more effective is breeding, though it takes more time. This way you can get not only strong passives but also higher Potential. Learn more in our guide: (Palworld Breeding Guide 2026: Breeding Farm, Incubator, and Cake) .
Palworld leveling: Power up Pals quickly with level-ups
The current maximum level for your Pals (and you) is 65. To get the most out of them, you should train your Pals up to that point. This not only unlocks all active skills (attacks), it also makes your Pal stronger overall.
Level-ups come from experience points. You gain these by fighting (Alpha bosses), capturing (up to 12 of each Pal), and working with Pals. You’ll also occasionally find Training Manuals that give your Pals XP directly. Equip a Growth Bell for additional experience as well.
Palworld machines: Statue of Power, Essence Condenser, and Surgery Table

Statue of Power in Palworld: Pal Souls for higher stats
At Technology Level 6 you can unlock the Statue of Power. It can increase your capture power, but more importantly, it raises your Pals’ stats. You need Pal Souls to strengthen your Pals. You can improve HP, Attack, Defense, and Work Speed. Costs increase with each level, and you’ll need larger souls as offerings. There are 20 levels, each raising a stat by 3%, for a maximum of +60%.
Pal Essence Condenser in Palworld: Sacrifice Pals for higher rank
At Level 14 you get another way to enhance your Pals. The Pal Essence Condenser may sound odd, but it’s great for combining the power of many Pals of one species and transferring it to a specific Pal.
Several stats increase in the process:
- HP, Attack, and Defense
- Partner Skill level (up to level 5)
- Work skills
You can see how often a Pal has been condensed by the stars at the top left of the stats screen. For the stars you need:
- 1 star: 4 Pals
- 2 stars: +16 Pals
- 3 stars: +32 Pals
- 4 stars: +64 Pals (116 Pals total)
Surgery Table in Palworld: Choose passive skills deliberately
You get specific passives through breeding or by catching with Yakumo. With Technology Level 36 and the Surgery Table, you can pick them individually. You’ll also need implants to select the right abilities. The Surgery Table is perfect for tailoring passives to your Pals.
Palworld items: Power up Pals with Skill Fruits and gear

Skill Fruits in Palworld: New attacks for any Pal
The right attacks matter, too. Pals learn new active skills as they level up. But that’s not the only option: you can find Skill Fruits that let you teach Pals a large selection of available attacks. It doesn’t matter what type your Pal is. Any fruit can be fed to any Pal, enabling exciting combinations. You’ll find Skill Fruits out in the world, and later you can grow them at your base.
Rare fruits in Palworld: Increase Potential and rank
As an alternative to condensing, you can find rare fruits in Palworld that permanently raise your Pals’ stats. Keep an eye out for two kinds:
- Potential Fruits: These come for Attack, Defense, and HP. They increase the visible Potential you see with the Ability Glasses by +10 points.
- Star Fruits: These very rare fruits can be used instead of condensing and raise your Pals’ rank by 1, depending on the fruit.
Palworld food: Buffs from dishes and recipes
You can also temporarily buff your Pals with the right food. There are plenty of tasty dishes you can cook and feed to your Pals. We already have a cooking guide if you want to learn more: (Palworld Food Guide 2026: Best Recipes, Ingredients & Storage) . In general, there are many buffs, from HP regeneration to damage and stamina. Try different recipes.
Pal gear in Palworld: Accessories for offense and defense
You can equip up to four accessories, and your Pals benefit from them as well. If you want to boost damage, use the corresponding elemental whistles, available in two tiers and for both offense and defense.
Palworld team building: Use Partner Skills and synergies
Your Pals don’t fight alone—a team always consists of up to five Pals. Combining different Pals is essential to get the most out of them.
Pay special attention to Partner Skills, as they hide powerful effects that benefit your whole team. Some boost elements, while others target specific Pals. This keeps your teams flexible and helps you find strong combat combinations.
Conclusion: How to make your Pals stronger in Palworld
There are many ways to power up your Pals in Palworld. Several unlockable technologies help, such as the Statue of Power and the Surgery Table. Items also support you, including different kinds of fruits, tasty recipes, and whistles as accessories. Regular training through experience points and team building is just as essential for your Pals’ strength.
