Every Pal has various abilities it can use in combat or passively in the background. These are called Partner Skills and are fixed for each species. They can cover many different aspects of the game, from gathering ore or other resources, to playful quirks, riding options, or extra support in battle. With so many Pals, some simply aren’t worth it. Today we’ll look at which Pals and Partner Skills are truly worth using—and which ones you should consider condensing to make them even stronger.

Palworld: Best Partner Skills for Combat

Palworld best Partner Skills for combat with powerful Pals

There are plenty of exciting abilities you can use to your advantage in battle. Many of them rely on a specific type combination, which shines when you can target an enemy’s weakness. You can learn more in our combat guide: (Palworld combat system explained: types, stats, attacks, weapons) . Some skills can heal or otherwise support you, while others let your Pals take up arms themselves.

  • Jetragon: This ability only becomes truly useful around level 50—but then you’re basically unstoppable. With Jetragon you can fly and fire a rocket launcher from the air at the same time. Perfect for wide-area attacks while staying safely out of harm’s way.

  • Knocklem: A simple, effective skill that increases your Attack and Defense. Great as a passive buff when things get dicey.

  • Dazzi: At Collar level 22 you can unlock this strong skill. Dazzi fights at your side and can call down lightning strikes on enemies. These strikes are incredibly powerful and get even better when you condense Dazzi.

  • Omascul: A rather odd Pal, but extremely useful for your team. Its skill grants increased experience gain, which is great for leveling and strengthening your other Pals—and for training weaker or newly added team members.

  • Lyleen: Sometimes you need to retreat and regroup—this is where Lyleen shines. She can heal you and has the strongest healing spell of all Pals.

Palworld Base: Partner Skills for Farming and Production

Palworld Partner Skills for base, farming, and production

At your base, you should also rely on a few great Pals to get the most out of your resources. There are Pals that produce specific materials and absolutely belong on a Ranch. But that’s not all—some other skills provide powerful boosts to certain farms, which is equally helpful.

  • Lullu: If you run crop farms at your base, Lullu is the perfect support for your fields. Her skill accelerates plant growth, and it gets stronger the more Lullu you assign to your base.

  • Prunelia: A perfect follow-up to Lullu—Prunelia shines at harvest time. She increases your crop yield, and this Partner Skill also stacks with multiple Prunelia.

  • Shroomer: Shroomer is not only rideable; it also brings a valuable base ability. Thanks to its spores, your working Pals lose Sanity more slowly, so they work better and don’t spiral. In busy bases, multiple Shroomer are ideal. Use the Pal Condenser to strengthen this ability.

  • Vixy: Vixy is one of the first Pals you can find in Palworld, and it remains useful all game long. On a Ranch it can dig up Pal Spheres, Bones, Arrows, and even Gold. Condense it to rank 5 to obtain higher-tier spheres more reliably.

  • Braloha: If your farm produces eggs, you should also keep a Braloha at your base. It shortens the time between eggs. Unlike Lullu or Prunelia, this ability does not stack. Learn more about breeding in our guide: (Palworld Breeding Guide 2026: Breeding Farm, Incubator, and Cake) .

Palworld Special Pals: Unique Partner Skills

Palworld unique Partner Skills from rare Pals

Finally, here are five more Pals whose Partner Skills are truly unique. That alone makes them worth using—you never know when they’ll come in handy. It’s also worth experimenting with other Pals to see what additional great skills you can find.

  • Smokie: If you’re hunting for Chromium, take Smokie along. It can detect this rare resource and even gather it during combat. You’ll need Chromium to craft Hexolite, an important endgame material in Palworld.

  • Yakumo: Yakumo likely has the best Partner Skill for players chasing top-tier Pals. You can ride it, but its combat ability is even better: captured Pals have a chance to inherit Yakumo’s passive skills. This can save you hours of breeding. Give Yakumo four of the best passives to take full advantage.

  • Dogen: Dogen lets you teleport from anywhere on the map to your nearest base. It doesn’t work in dungeons, but otherwise it’s an indispensable skill.

  • Mimog: Want to open certain chests but don’t have a key? Mimog has you covered. The stronger its Partner Skill, the higher the quality of the chests it can unlock.

  • Tombat: Use Tombat when you’re searching for specific Pals. Its ultrasound detects nearby Pals and marks them on your map, making rare-Pal hunting far more efficient.

Conclusion: Use Partner Skills smartly and condense your Pals

Palworld offers plenty of useful Pals for every purpose—but some clearly stand out and deserve your focus. Whether in combat, at your base, or out exploring, these fifteen Pals have your back with their Partner Skills. To make them even stronger, you should condense them and raise the skill ranks.
