Lastly, you can venture into the contaminated zones. Permanently, these are the previously mentioned Pavlovo military base and the Rify shipwreck in the north. Both are surrounded by a suffocating gas cloud that you should only explore with appropriate gear. Therefore, you should wear a complete NBC suit beforehand.

Additionally, contaminated zones can dynamically appear on the map but will disappear after some time. Almost all of the places mentioned here are subject to this. They occur approximately every 15 minutes and often dissipate after just a few minutes. But they can come unexpectedly, and you should quickly leave the zone.
