With Phase 5 of the Space Elevator, Satisfactory’s core progression is approaching its end. Of course, you can keep playing the sandbox forever, but the final phase of the lift is also the last official task assigned by your FICSIT team. And it’s a big one, with extremely complex build projects and production lines that ask you to bring all your knowledge together one last time. You unlock all required components with Tier 9 (Satisfactory Tier 9 Guide: Converter, Mk. 6 Conveyor Belts, Portals and More) — after that, it’s time to prepare for Satisfactory’s finale.

Satisfactory Space Elevator Phase 5: Preparation, power and production planning

Once you’ve completed every milestone, you should turn your attention to Phase 5. This is where everything you’ve learnt comes together, and Satisfactory gives you one last major challenge to clear the final hurdle.

For Phase 5 you need:

  • 1000x Nuclear Pasta
  • 1000x Biochemical Modellers
  • 256x AI Expansion Servers
  • 200x Ballistic Warp Drives

By now, you should be familiar with the key processes needed to craft these final parts — you’ve managed every other step already. This last phase expects you to bring all of it together and maximise your planetary production.

Our final tips for Phase 5:

  • Secure a reliable source of power generation, whether nuclear or rocket fuel.
  • Research everything in the MAM to cover all angles.
  • Find every hard drive for the MAM to unlock all possible alternate recipes. We’re sticking to vanilla recipes in this guide, but you can certainly shorten some paths.
  • Use transport options that fit your playstyle — trains, drones or trusty old conveyor belts.
  • Build with blueprints and modular sections to potentially create a mega‑factory. More in our article (Satisfactory endgame: planning your mega factory and optimal layout) .

Nuclear Pasta for Phase 5: Produce Copper Powder and Pressure Conversion Cubes efficiently

SEO description of the image

You already had to make Nuclear Pasta in Phase 4, but the required amount jumps from just 100 to a full 1000. That shouldn’t be a problem if you laid the groundwork earlier. You can scale up your Phase 4 line or simply let it run in the background until you have enough (Satisfactory Space Elevator Phase 4 guide: unlock Tier 9) . Copper Powder is straightforward, and you can reuse Pressure Conversion Cubes from a prior setup. Those are made from Radio Control Units and Fused Modular Frames.

Crafting the Biochemical Modeller: Assembly Director System, FICSIT Trigon and water in a Blender

You’ll also need 1000 Biochemical Modellers to finish Phase 5. Thankfully, this part builds on previous steps, as you can practically reuse your entire Assembly Director System production and extend it from there. Combine those with FICSIT Trigons and water in a Blender.

  • Assembly Director System: This part is made from Supercomputers and Adaptive Control Units. It was already required in Phase 4, so it should pose fewer issues. Because it needs many sub‑components, this is a great place to leverage alternate recipes and overlaps with other lines.
  • FICSIT Trigon: Craft these from FICSIT Ingots, which you convert from other ores (Aluminium, Caterium or Iron) and Reanimated SAM. Not particularly difficult either.
  • Water: Pump water straight into the Blender to complete the recipe.

Producing AI Expansion Servers: Magnetic Field Generator, Neural Quantum Processor, Superposition Oscillator and Excited Photonic Matter

Now it gets more complex, even if you can reuse a few elements from earlier phases. You’ll feed four parts into the Quantum Encoder, each with its own lengthy production chain.

  • Magnetic Field Generator: You can carry this over from Phase 4. It’s made from Versatile Framework and Electromagnetic Control Rods.
  • Neural Quantum Processor: Likely one of the most complex parts, as it also needs four further items brought together in a Quantum Encoder: Time Crystals, Supercomputers, FICSIT Trigons and Excited Photonic Matter. Still manageable. You already produce Supercomputers and Trigons for the Modellers. Time Crystals only need Diamonds, and the Photonic Matter can be generated from nothing.
  • Superposition Oscillator: Requires four components: Dark Matter Crystals, Crystal Oscillators, Alclad Aluminium Sheets and, again, Excited Photonic Matter.
  • Excited Photonic Matter: Can be produced in the Converter with no inputs and is needed for several other parts anyway.

This chain produces Dark Matter Residue as a by‑product, which you’ll need elsewhere, such as for Ficsonium and Dark Matter Crystals. This lets you create a loop that simplifies production significantly.

Ballistic Warp Drive: Thermal Propulsion Rocket, Singularity Cell, Superposition Oscillator and Dark Matter Crystal

The final and by far most demanding part awaiting you in Satisfactory. Here, four more production lines converge in a Manufacturer, though you can reuse several items from the previous step.

  • Thermal Propulsion Rocket: Reuse your Phase 4 setup — it’s already on the complex side. That’s one of four aspects done.
  • Singularity Cell: Made from Concrete, Iron Plates, Dark Matter Crystals and Nuclear Pasta. As you can see, there are plenty of overlaps again.
  • Superposition Oscillator: You’ve already produced these for the AI Expansion Servers.
  • Dark Matter Crystal: Typically produced from Diamonds and Dark Matter Residue. The latter is a by‑product of various processes you already have running. Simply divert some to crystal production.

You can see several steps overlap with the AI Expansion Server, allowing you to produce both in parallel. As before, Satisfactory rewards careful review and planning. That way you cover all bases and can streamline your production.

Conclusion for Phase 5: Finish the Space Elevator and enter the endgame

Congratulations — you’ve completed all phases of the Space Elevator. You only need to handle the launch sequence and prep all systems, but that requires no new materials. After that, you’ve “finished” Satisfactory and can build your dream factory and simply enjoy the achievement.

If you want to try your hand at reaching and completing Phase 5 of the Space Elevator, rent your own Satisfactory server directly from us. It’s a major undertaking, but together with friends you can push forward and beat the game as a team.
