Gold Coins are one of the most important items in Palworld, letting you buy a wide range of gear for your adventures. No matter where you are in the game, more Gold is always better! The community has come up with plenty of smart ways to farm money and stack enough Gold Coins for all your purchases. From active methods like dungeon runs to selling food, there are many ways to build your bankroll. Below, we’ll look at several options, when to use them, and how you can scale them.

Earn money in Palworld early game (levels 1 to 20)

Palworld berry farming: sell grilled berries

Early on you can’t do too much yet, but one solid method is building a Berry Plantation and then grilling and selling those berries. You only need a small base—often a section of your main base is enough. Starting at level 5 you can place the Berry Plantation and then use a Campfire to turn berries into Grilled Berries. Merchants will buy them for 10 Gold Coins each.

Your working Pals should have Planting, Watering, Gathering, Kindling, and Transporting. The better your Pals and the more space you give this setup, the more you’ll produce. And don’t forget to watch their Sanity!

Craft and sell nails

Selling nails isn’t as strong as it used to be because the sell price dropped to 20 Gold Coins, but it’s still a viable early-game option. From level 10 you can unlock the recipe in Technologies.

At first you’ll have to mine Ore manually—Rushoar is great for that. Bring the Ore back to base, smelt it with Kindling, and have Pals with Handiwork turn it into nails. Each ingot yields two nails, and each ingot requires two Ore. Building your base near ore veins helps if you plan to automate later, or wait for the Ore Mining Site at level 24.

Farm dungeons: sell loot and lotus flowers

Dungeons are a great active money-maker both early and later. They’re fun and require no base setup to craft anything. If you prefer to earn money directly, just run dungeons and sell the loot you find.

One of your best sources is lotus flowers you can pick—they sell for 5,000 and sometimes even 10,000 Gold Coins. You can also sell other unneeded finds like gems or blueprints.

Make Gold in the mid game (levels 20 to 40)

Mau as a gold farm at the Ranch

Another passive method uses the Pal Mau at the Ranch, where this lucky cat produces Gold for you. It’s not the single best method, but it’s convenient because it works without your input. Mau only appears in dungeons, which pairs perfectly with the tip above.

Through Juicing and using the Pal Essence Condenser with additional Mau, you can raise its Partner Skill to four stars for even more Gold. You can also run multiple Ranches with multiple Mau to scale your income.

Farm scrap piles: fast gold loot

Across Palpagos Island you’ll find scrap piles with surprisingly good loot. You can pick up Gold Coins directly—roughly 200 in starter areas and up to 2,500 Gold on Feybreak. Hop from scrap pile to scrap pile and scoop up your finds.

Each spot has a 300-minute cooldown, so you can’t abuse a single route forever. You’ll move fastest with a mount and your Grappling Hook. Sakurajima and Feybreak are especially lucrative with the best loot.

Grow and sell salad

Making and selling salad is basically an upgraded version of grilled berries. You can use this method from level 25 once you have all the pieces: the Cooking Pot (level 17), the Tomato Plantation (level 21), and the Lettuce Plantation (level 25). You’ll also need Pals who can tend fields, collect produce, and cook the dish.

As with any farm, the better your Pals, the more efficient your production. Prunelia is the absolute best late-game Pal for this job—ideally at max level. That boosts both yield and work speed. A salad sells for 120 Gold Coins.

Max out your gold in late game (from level 44)

Craft and sell Legendary Pal Spheres

Late game opens up far more options, provided you can feed them with resources. Selling Legendary Pal Spheres is one of the top money-makers, though it’s demanding to set up. Each sphere sells for 4,520 Gold Coins. You can craft them starting at level 44 and they require 10x Paldium Fragments, 5x Pal Metal Ingots, 3x Carbon Fiber, and 5x Cement. Merchants are your best source for most of these materials. You’ll also need Pals to handle the workloads.

Gold Coin Press from level 48: mint your own money

The Gold Coin Press is a direct way to produce money yourself. You can unlock this production line in Technologies at level 48. It really shines if you have a surplus of Metal Ingots or dedicate a base purely to money-making. One ingot yields 100 Gold Coins.

Compared to Legendary Spheres, the setup is much simpler but the returns are lower. Pressing coins also drains your Pals’ Sanity a lot, so keep them well cared for. Both methods are strong—choose one, or run both in parallel.

Conclusion: Earn more Gold in Palworld

Gold Coins are Palworld’s currency, and you’ll need them to buy items. There are many ways to farm money, so pick what fits your progress and playstyle. Whether you spin up a large salad factory, put Mau to work at a Ranch, or keep cycling dungeons and scrap piles—it’s your call. Palworld gives you plenty of fun options.

Gold matters in multiplayer too! You can rent your own Palworld server from us and try some of these methods: Rent a server for Palworld. That way, you and your friends will always have enough Gold Coins to purchase the items that matter.
