With Phase 5 of the Space Elevator, Satisfactory’s core progression is nearing its end. Of course, you can keep enjoying the sandbox forever, but the final elevator phase is also the last official assignment your FICSIT team gives you. And it’s a tough one, with extremely complex builds and production lines that ask you to bring everything you’ve learned together one last time. You unlock all required components with Tier 9 (Satisfactory Tier 9 Guide: Converter, Conveyor Belts Mk. 6, Portals, and More) . After that, you can start preparing for Satisfactory’s finale.

Once you’ve completed all milestones, it’s time to focus on Phase 5. This is where everything you’ve learned comes together, and Satisfactory challenges you to clear the final hurdle.

For Phase 5 you need:

  • 1000x Nuclear Pasta
  • 1000x Biochemical Sculptors
  • 256x AI Expansion Servers
  • 200x Ballistic Warp Drives

By now you should be familiar with the essentials you need to craft these final components—you’ve made it through the previous phases, after all. This last phase expects you to tie all those threads together and maximize your planet-wide production.

Our final tips for Phase 5:

  • Secure a reliable power source, whether that’s nuclear power or rocket fuel.
  • Research everything in the MAM to cover every angle.
  • Find all hard drives for the MAM to unlock every possible alternate recipe. We stick to vanilla recipes in this guide, but you can definitely shorten some paths.
  • Use transport options that fit your playstyle—trains, drones, or trusty old conveyor belts.
  • Work with Blueprints and modular blocks to possibly build a mega factory. More on that in our article (Satisfactory Endgame: Plan Your Mega Factory and Optimal Layout) .

Nuclear Pasta for Phase 5: Efficiently producing Copper Powder and Pressure Conversion Cubes

You already had to make Nuclear Pasta in Phase 4, but now the required amount jumps from 100 to 1000. That shouldn’t be a big issue if you laid the groundwork earlier. You can scale up your Phase 4 setup or simply let it run in the background until you have enough (Satisfactory Space Elevator Phase 4 Guide: Unlock Tier 9) . Copper Powder is very easy to produce, and you can also reuse Pressure Conversion Cubes from your existing line. They are made from Radio Control Units and Fused Modular Frames.

Crafting the Biochemical Sculptor: Assembly Director System, FICSIT Trigon, and Water in the Blender

You’ll also need 1000 Biochemical Sculptors to finish Phase 5. Thankfully, this item builds directly on the previous step, since you can practically reuse your entire Assembly Director System (ADS) production and extend from there. Combine ADS with FICSIT Trigons and Water in a Blender.

  • Assembly Director System: This item is crafted from Supercomputers and Adaptive Control Units. It was already required in Phase 4, so it shouldn’t cause much trouble. Since it needs a lot of subcomponents, alternate recipes and overlaps with other lines can help a lot.
  • FICSIT Trigon: Trigons are crafted from FICSIT Ingots, which you convert from other ores (Aluminum, Caterium, or Iron) plus Reanimated SAM. Not particularly hard either.
  • Water: Pump Water into the Blender to complete the recipe.

Producing AI Expansion Servers: Magnetic Field Generator, Neural Quantum Processor, Superposition Oscillator, and Excited Photonic Matter

This gets a bit more complex, even if you can carry over several parts from earlier phases. You’ll bring four components together in the Quantum Encoder, each with its own lengthy production chain.

  • Magnetic Field Generator: You can reuse your Phase 4 setup here. It’s made from Versatile Framework and Electromagnetic Control Rods.
  • Neural Quantum Processor: Arguably one of the most complex items, since it also requires four sub-items that merge in the Quantum Encoder: Time Crystals, Supercomputers, FICSIT Trigons, and Excited Photonic Matter. Still manageable though. Supercomputers and Trigons are already needed for the Sculptors. For Time Crystals you only need Diamonds, and the Matter can be generated from nothing.
  • Superposition Oscillator: Requires four parts as well: Dark Matter Crystals, Crystal Oscillators, Alclad Aluminum Sheets, and again Excited Photonic Matter.
  • Excited Photonic Matter: Can be produced in the Converter with no inputs and is needed in several other items anyway.

This production also yields Dark Matter Residue as a byproduct, which you’ll need for things like Ficsonium and Dark Matter Crystals. That lets you create a loop that simplifies your overall production.

Ballistic Warp Drive: Thermal Propulsion Rocket, Singularity Cell, Superposition Oscillator, and Dark Matter Crystal

This is the final and by far most difficult component Satisfactory asks you to build. Four production chains converge in the Manufacturer, but you can reuse several items from the previous step.

  • Thermal Propulsion Rocket: Reuse your setup from Phase 4—it’s already a bit more involved. That’s one of the four taken care of.
  • Singularity Cell: Made from Concrete, Iron Plates, Dark Matter Crystals, and Nuclear Pasta. As you can see, there’s plenty of overlap with other components here too.
  • Superposition Oscillator: You already produced these for the AI Expansion Servers.
  • Dark Matter Crystal: Typically crafted from Diamonds and Dark Matter Residue. The latter is a byproduct of various manufacturing processes you already have running. Just route it over to feed crystal production.

You can see there’s considerable overlap with the AI Expansion Server, letting you produce both in parallel. As always, Satisfactory encourages you to take a closer look and plan everything carefully. That way you cover all bases and can streamline your production.

Conclusion for Phase 5: Finish the Space Elevator and start the endgame

Congratulations—you’ve completed all phases of the Space Elevator. Now you just need to handle the launch sequence and prep the systems, but no new materials are required. After that, you’ve “beaten” Satisfactory and can focus on building your dream factory and simply enjoy the success.

If you want to try reaching and finishing Phase 5 of the Space Elevator yourself, rent your own Satisfactory server from us. It’s a big undertaking, but with friends you can push forward together and finish the game as a team.
