Farming Simulator 25 is getting exciting again. GIANTS Software has once again proven with Patch 1.9 and the free Content Update #2 that farming is not just about planting and harvesting - it’s about constant development, technical improvements, and a healthy dose of machine love.
New Machines in Farming Simulator 25 Patch 1.9

Farm enthusiasts can rejoice over several new additions to the fleet. And yes, there’s something for everyone this time. Lumberjacks in particular will perk up: With the John Deere 1270G, forestry work becomes not only more efficient but also more stylish. With its rotating cabin and powerful engine, it forges its way through the densest forests. But there’s also news on the fields. The Aerosem VT 5000 DD by Pöttinger brings new possibilities in sowing and impresses with its compact design.
Innovative Features and Vehicles

For those who prefer to zip around in a modern look, take a closer look at the Škoda Enyaq Coupé RS iV - a fully electric road vehicle, introducing a new convenient and stylish way of transportation in the game. And since soil cultivation is still an essential part of the game, the Väderstad TopDown 600 completes the package perfectly.
Enhanced Gaming Experience in the Update

It’s not just new machines making an entry. Patch 1.9 brings a host of improvements that elevate the gaming experience to a new level. The developers have tweaked many areas: performance in multiple sectors has been optimized, visual details have been revised, and AI navigation has been improved - particularly on narrow field paths and winding routes, the new routing is noticeably more reliable. This should put an end to harvesters getting stuck on trees and fences. Smaller but equally annoying bugs have also been fixed, such as issues with tension belts or the display of information in certain machines.
New Features in the Precision Farming DLC

Those using the Precision Farming DLC can also look forward to some additional features. New setting options now allow for the adjustment of tramline direction, which is especially helpful on large fields. Additionally, the realistic spread pattern and speed-dependent application can now be optionally disabled - a feature particularly catering to players with an individual playstyle. Adjustments have also been made to the calculation of yields and seed consumption, especially for specialty crops like potatoes and beets.
Looking Ahead: Upcoming Expansions
With this update, GIANTS Software once again demonstrates that Farming Simulator 25 is not only growing but also maturing. It is precisely this mix of new content and fine improvements that keeps the game alive - making the virtual farm life exciting every time.
So, if you’re looking to expand your fleet, try out the latest features, or just crave some fresh country air, you shouldn’t miss Patch 1.9 with Content Update #2. And the next expansion is already on the horizon, as we can look forward to the Plains & Prairies DLC in early June, and the subsequent expansions for 2025 are already planned.
Of course, all servers at 4Netplayers are always up to date, and you can jump straight into the new content and enjoy the changes. If you don’t have a server yet and want to explore the fields and forests with your friends rather than alone, we highly recommend our Farming Simulator 25 Servers.
